Physiotherapy in Saskatoon and Watrous

Woman working with physical therapistYou Can Do Hard Things and We Can Help

Your story is unique, your treatment plan should be as well. Whether you’re looking for Physiotherapy due to pain from an accident or from lifestyle situations, we can help. Sitting at work, old injuries or repetitive physical stressors like holding your baby for hours on end may have created persistent back, neck or shoulder pain. Physiotherapy involves identifying and assessing physical injury, and then developing a focused plan for the various stages of healing. You can think of Physiotherapy as a chance to improve your ‘physical capabilities’. At Movement Chiropractic, our Physiotherapist Scott Golding has years of experience helping people just like yourself get back to living the life they love. He pulls from a wide variety of techniques in his custom physio sessions, including focused stretches, exercises, movements, ultrasound therapy and even electrical muscle stimulation to strengthen problem areas. We are pleased to offer physiotherapy in Watrous.

When new patients come to us for healing, Scott walks them through the three stages of care.

  • First, we’ll address your pain and inflammation by incorporating ‘relief techniques’.
  • Once your pain is under control, we move into stage two. The goal is to restore movement and strength in your affected areas and will involve custom exercises.
  • In stage three, we work to improve function in the affected area so that you can reduce the chance of the injury or pain recurring.

It is common to think that physiotherapy is only prescribed for injuries but the reality is that physio treatments are just as important in the prevention of injury and can be accessed at any time. If you simply aren’t feeling your best, or want to move better, physiotherapy can improve your quality of life.

We are a multidisciplinary clinic and after assessment, Scott may suggest adding additional services to your physiotherapy care to best help you address your health concerns.  We are pleased to offer chiropractic care, massage therapy, cupping therapy, orthotics, and more.
