Clinic Safety Protocols for COVID-19 in Saskatoon

Covid-19 cleaning products used at Movement Chiropractic

Update: Effective March 23, 2020 we will be closed indefinitely to help limit the spread of COVID-19. Please follow us on Facebook for updates.

Considering the recent escalation of precautions surrounding COVID-19, we want to let you all know that we are monitoring the situation very closely as information changes rapidly day by day.

The health and safety of our patients and staff is our main priority. With this in mind, we would like to advise you of the precautions we are taking to help protect you, our staff and the community at large.

Sanitation Protocols at Movement Chiropractic for COVID-19

  1. At the clinic, we are following screening protocols. If a patient thinks they have been in contact with someone who has been diagnosed with COVID-19 or they are experiencing symptoms of the virus (fever, dry cough, difficulty breathing) we are asking that they cancel their appointments immediately. Please be advised that ignoring these guidelines could result in refusal of treatment upon arrival.
  2. We have temporarily removed all magazines, toys, books and other difficult to clean items from our waiting area to mitigate the risk of COVID-19 transmission.
  3. To aid in the practice of social distancing, we have changed the configuration of the chairs in the waiting room. During this time, we would also request that patients arrive as close to their appointment time to limit time spent in the common areas.
  4. Treatment areas, including tables, door handles and all surface touch points will be sanitized between each patient.
  5. And finally, if you are feeling at all unwell, please remain at home. We would be happy to reschedule your appointment to promote the health and safety of everyone.

We will continue to monitor the situation and will keep our policies updated based on directives from the Saskatchewan public health authorities.

We appreciate your understanding during this time, if you have any questions or concerns, do not hesitate to reach out to us. Please visit www.saskatchewan.ca/coronavirus for up-to-date information.
